State Parks

Georgia is known for having one of the best state park systems in the nation, protecting more than 80,000 acres of naturalstate parks beauty. Many of those state parks are located in the Northeast Georgia Mountains. From hiking and camping to fishing and swimming, there's something for everyone in a Georgia State Park.

Georgia State Parks joins pet-friendly trend by accommodating man’s best friend. As of January, three parks around the state will allow dogs at designated pet-friendly cottages.
